It’s no surprise that cats don’t like to be bossed around. In fact, they’re downright opposed to the idea. That’s why so many people have had problems getting collars, leashes, and harnesses that work for their cats. But if you’re taking your cat on a long trip in the car, you have to let them out to stretch their legs at some point. And that often means outfitting them with a harness or leash so they don’t get away.
If you find yourself looking for a cat lead that will be effective and comfortable, make sure that you take a few factors into consideration. For one, the collar and lead absolutely must fit your cat. If it’s too small, it will be uncomfortable, and if it’s too big, your cat might slip right out. Also, make sure it’s a durable make. Some cats are surprisingly quick and efficient at chewing their way through leashes, so it will have to be made of a material that can withstand a little bit of gnawing.

The size, health and needs of the dog or cat are a few of the prime aspects to consider before buying the bed. Talking about size, the bed should be big enough to let the pet lie flat on his side on the bed.
Old dogs or dogs that are ill or have arthritis would need special orthopedic beds.
Next consideration you need to look for is the comfort level and style of the dog bed.
Big cushions can serve as pillows, while dog mats are thinner than pillows. Rugs and cuddlers would definitely keep your dog comfortable and support a curling dog on all three sides.
The filling of the pet beds must be one that provides utmost comfort to the animals. Foam is most preferred choice, but cedar fill are soon replacing them as they also repel fleas. The best aspect about cedar is that it can be refilled as well.
Make sure you get removable and washable bed covers, because dogs are bound to make them dirty. Extra bed covers will prove to be a great help, especially with dogs that are not yet trained properly.
When it comes to black cats, there have been many famous dark furred felines throughout the ages: Salem from Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Thackery Binx from the hit Hocus Pocus film, and the infamous Purple Elvis Cat, but none can compare to the celebrity of Monkey Joe. Monkey’s career in the limelight began with one single photograph, in which the feline displayed a distinctive expression that came to be known as “The Face” in the mainstream. Often compared to the expression of the Mona Lisa, the famous initial photographing of “The Face” began an artistic renaissance in the early 21st century. Art and Film critic Franklin D. Freshman once described “The Face” as the same expression the Lord held when he looked over the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. “The Face” inspires a mixture of awe, pity, anger, and righteousness unparalleled in depth amongst other canonical artworks from the same period.
Monkey Joe eventually became a public figure with a devoted following, and paraphernalia including cat furniture, cat beds, and cat collars were designed in his image. The photographer of “The Face” would later go on to photograph “The Room” and “The Other”, and while these pieces were important for the period, they are often looked upon as mere branches of the artistic movement inspired by “The Face” of Monkey Joe.

There are many different kinds of cat collars on the market, so it is important that you choose a cat collar that’s perfect to suit your cat’s needs. The following are some of the types of cat collars:
1. Buckle collar - the easiest type for a cat to wear, since it can be put on and taken off easily and quickly.
2. Adjustable collar – ideal for a younger cat that will need a collar that grows with them, thus saves you from purchasing a new one in the future.
3. Elastic collar - best for cats that do not need the extra weight and bulk of a buckle.
4. Collars with breakaway buckles - immediately frees the cat if he or she becomes caught on something.
5. Collars with reflective materials - keep your precious cat visible and safe at night

Cats make great pets. For one thing, they look adorable and are soft and cuddly. They also enjoy their solitude when they feel like it.
A cat does not follow you around like a shadow but is there when you need it. Cats love snuggling and curling up in warm cat beds. A cat can act like a princess, but if she feels like one, why stop her?
Anyone that has a cat is probably familiar with frayed couch corners, torn-up blinds and shredded carpets; these are all a result of a cat’s scratching. And, if you’re cat’s scratching is annoying you, don’t think you can change the behavior–because you can’t. Scratching is a natural behavior for cats and we all know cats aren’t the best at taking orders. But, what you can do is attempt to control where your cat scratches.
Cats don’t understand physical punishment, so hitting your cat when she scratches is one of the worst things you can do. Cats also have good memories and though they won’t associate you hitting them with their scratching behavior, they will remember that you hurt them and hold a grudge.
Cats scratch for many reasons including; marking their territory, exercise and because it simply feels good. The best option in preventing kitty from shredding your most prized possessions is to provide her with her own cat scratching post. Cats prefer scratching on rough surfaces, so picking a post made of wood is the best option. Also, make sure the post is tall enough so that your cat can stretch to her full height. Lastly, make sure the post is stable and cannot easily be tipped over.
So I have found that the cat that now lives in my house is a bit of a neurotic. It seems like she won’t be comfortable around me. There is a small trick that I have developed where I pretend to be asleep on the couch and she will actually walk on my body.
But when I show that I am awake, away she goes. I could tell that she wants some warmth and affection, so I want to make her feel at home with me. I think maybe she is in a lot of pain and might need some cat pain relief. I need to take her to the vet to find out. I actually am very optimistic about my new cat, the best things are not the easiest.
I just got a cat at the pound. The name that they gave to her was Little Muffin. Personally, I would not have named her that, but it was what she got, so I didn’t want to mess with fate. Well, Little Muffin is more than just a little handful. She gets in everything and often disappears under things for long periods of time.
Well, I got her a cat tower and that seems to be helping. She has one spot where she can go nuts and get all of her aggression out. I think that this relationship is a work in progress.
